Label Forum Japan 2026 Announced – Website Updated
Exhibitor Applications Open from Early October 2025
Label Forum Japan 2026 will take place over three days, from October 14 (Wed) to 16 (Fri), 2026, at Tokyo Big Sight, Ariake, Tokyo. Originating from the “Label Summit” held in 2006, the event was rebranded as Label Forum Japan in 2008 and has since been organized biennially. The upcoming edition will mark the 8th event overall and the second time it is held at Tokyo Big Sight.
Conference Resumes
The two-day international conference at the International Conference Center will feature keynote addresses, brand owner sessions, international sessions, and technical sessions with speakers from Japan and abroad. After being suspended during the COVID-19 pandemic, the program will finally return, offering insights into the latest market trends, future outlooks, and proposals for new business models.
Exhibition and Label Pavilion
At the exhibition, domestic and international exhibitors will showcase the latest technologies and products. Attendees will include label printing companies, package and commercial printers, suppliers, brand owners, retailers, and many other stakeholders in the label industry.
Within the venue, the Label Pavilion will present a wide variety of labels distinguished by their functionality, design, marketing impact, and environmental performance. By raising awareness among brand owners and end-users, the pavilion will help further expand demand for labels.
Concurrent Event: TOKYO PACK 2026
At the same time, the Japan Packaging Institute will host TOKYO PACK 2026 in the East Exhibition Hall of Tokyo Big Sight. Together, these two events will present cutting-edge solutions in the essential fields of labels and packaging—an unparalleled opportunity to experience the future of both industries in one location.
Event Theme
The theme for 2026 is: "NEXT LABEL – Co-Creation of Technology, Function, and Sustainability." Amid a rapidly changing market environment, the event will propose next-generation label products, envision the future of the market, and explore new value creation, providing clear direction for the industry.
Highlights from the Previous Edition
The previous edition, Label Forum Japan 2024, was held under the theme “Shaping the Sustainable Future of Labels.” A total of 104 exhibitors across 188 booths participated, with about one-third being first-time exhibitors. One in three companies showcased live machinery demonstrations. Over the three days, the event welcomed 8,813 visitors, offering them a firsthand experience of the latest equipment and solutions, and earning strong praise from across the industry.

Labelexpo Southeast Asia 2025 Tour
Registration Open: Labelexpo Southeast Asia 2025 Tour
Label Shimbun is pleased to announce the launch of its official tour to Labelexpo Southeast Asia 2025.
Held in Bangkok, Thailand, the hub of ASEAN, Labelexpo Southeast Asia is the region’s largest dedicated label exhibition and a key driver in the global label market, which continues to grow at an average annual rate of 4.1% (Label Shimbun research, 2024).
At the show, global suppliers will gather to present the latest technologies—including hybrid and digital presses—through live demonstrations. Particularly noteworthy is the growing presence of Chinese digital press and label printer manufacturers, whose numbers and print quality have significantly improved in recent years.
The exhibition is held every two years and showcases not only labels but also the latest innovations in flexible packaging, folding cartons, and related materials and machinery, with many products demonstrated on running equipment.
